To learn a language effectively, it's important to first learn it by listening rather than reading. Teaching should primarily be done orally, as this aligns with how nature approves of language acquisition. When a parent teaches their young child to speak, she doesn't use signs and characters from a book. However, when it comes to teaching languages from books, students are placed in a position as they are expected to acquire the ability to speak through visual learning, which is more challenging compared to learning through hearing.
The student must be encouraged to think in the language they are learning.
